Engineered for Glory

The late Jim Easton introduced the world to the aluminum bat. He knew that he could increase the “sweetspot” by modulating the thickness of the walls. In doing so, he made one of sport’s most difficult things to do a little easier for everyone. Every Easton product is built on creating a performance gap that benefits the athlete. Every Easton product is Engineered for glory.

Problem

Easton had lost brand salience and relevance. We needed to modernize Easton and get a younger audience talking about the company as the best sports equipment maker on the market.

Insight

The Best Athletes Dream Crazy. Those who are determined enough to put in the insane amount of time and effort it takes to become great are the ones who succeed. They surround themselves with the best team, the best coaches, and the best equipment to help them perform their best.

Solution

Engineered for Glory. Even the engineers at Easton agreed they lost their way and their connection to the brand's core purpose. What separates Easton from other brands is how they use product technology to overcome performance gaps. Easton made products no other brand could or would make—giving athletes a competitive edge and a better shot at winning.

Relevancy

Our online videos, social posts, and playlists went viral, successfully capturing the attention of youth and amateur athletes and bringing the brand back into cultural conversation.
